Day 10 – SHOUT To The Lord!
Today: Have some fun praising The Lord for who He is and what He’s done. Do some shouting – somewhere, someplace, at sometime today!
“Our Father in Heaven, holy is your name…”. Matthew 5:6
Today, we are using the model prayer that Jesus gave us to pray over the next few days. And Jesus instructed us to begin by honoring our Heavenly Father for who He is.
“In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”” Revelation 5:12 NIV
Our Lord deserves all the honor and praise we can give Him today. Let your praise for The Lord be rolling off your lips today to all those around you. Let there be no doubt that you love the Lord in the way you speak to others today.
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,”. Philippians 2:9 NIV
Now have some fun praising The Lord. SHOUT OUT LOUD Psalm 100
“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100:1-5 NIV
Go ahead! Have some more fun! Let down your guard.
“Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” Psalm 150:1-6 NIV
May our praise be so loud, so filled with grateful joy, so many people shouting out to the Lord that the Lord will look down from heaven above and say… “Wow, Branch County is loving me today!”
