Day 22 – Humble Ourselves and Pray
We focus our prayers beyond Branch County to our nation over the next 3 days. May God Bless America for His purposes and His plans!
“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV
Cry out to God for a National revival that will turn the tide against evil. Our God is our only hope for a turn around in our country.
Cry out to God for healing in families that are on the verge of breaking up right now. The basic unit of any healthy culture is the family unit. The principalities and powers have accomplished much in the deteriation of the family and the health it brings to families and ultimately to our nation. Oh Heavenly Father, we need our thinking transformed by your mighty hand toward our families.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2 NIV
Pray that our public officials will submit their will to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Pray that they will submit their motivations to the Lordship os Jesus Christ.
Pray for God to cut off the influence of those who seek evil.
Tomorrow is the National Day of Prayer for the United States of America. Make plans to pray. Join with others in prayer through a community gathering to call on the name of The Lord.
